Last night, my head hit the pillow at 8pm and I was out in just a few minutes. Little Brady snuggled up to me (Daddy was traveling so he got to sleep in “the big bed”) and the sunset light was streaming in our big windows. It was a little bit of heaven on earth. No cell phones. No tv on. No noise. Just deep breaths and toddler snuggles. It would do us all well to slow down and remember what matters most. Moments like that. It was deliberate and planned and worth every second.
